About the Founder
Background
American Bulldog Construction was founded by Scott McKennon. Scott Is an Army Veteran who
has worked in the construction industry since 1990, specializing in residential remodeling. In 1998
he began working for a production builder as a construction superintendent. He took the lessons
learned in the Northern Virginia building boom and developed a strong construction business
formula based on; sensible scheduling, customer satisfaction, and attention to detail. In 2001
Scott founded American Bulldog Construction.
Scott McKennon has also developed a passion for assisting combat wounded veterans. He has
sought to increase the number of jobs performed for the Fredericksburg area’s growing number of
disabled citizens. He has also become an authorized dealer and installer for Horcher Lifting
Systems, a company that specializes in providing home and institutional medical mobility
equipment.
Scott is dedicated to improving himself within his trade and conducting business in an honest and
upfront manner.
